The Jacksonville Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in a missing person case.


Tyler Angel Cross, 18, was reported missing from his home on Silverleaf Drive at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, according to a press release from the Jacksonville Police Department.


Officers describe Cross as a mixed-race male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’7 tall and 167 lbs. Purcell added he may be in the area of Dockside Drive in Hunter’s Creek located off of Piney Green Road.


“This is an open and active investigation,” said Supervisor Sergeant Shawn Marcinowsky of the Investigative Services Division in the release. “Even the smallest bit of information may be of assistance to detectives in locating Tyler Angel Cross.”
