The following have announced closures due to Hurricane Dorian.


Onslow County Public Library will be closed Sept. 5 and 6.
Duplin County Schools will dismiss at 2 p.m. Sept. 4 and be closed Sept. 5 and Sept. 6.
New Beginnings Child Care Centers will be closing at 4 p.m. Wednesday and expect to be closed Thursday. Decisions have not yet been made about Friday.
Northwoods Methodist Preschool will be closed Sept. 4 - 6.
The N.C. Maritime Museum in Beaufort is closed as staff prepare the museum and its artifacts and exhibits ahead of the storm. The museum and the Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center will be closed until further notice.
Alive at Five, scheduled for Sept. 5 in Morehead City, has been cancelled. Organizers are working on rescheduling the event.

Four disaster recovery information sessions scheduled for eastern North Carolina this week are postponed until further notice due to Hurricane Dorian, including the one planned Thursday in Beaufort.

Infant of Prague Catholic School will dismiss at noon Wednesday and be closed Thursday and Friday. All after school clubs, activities and practices are cancelled.
Camp Lejeune schools will be closed Wednesday through Friday.
The Onslow County Planning Board Meeting scheduled for Thursday has been cancelled.
Carteret County Public Schools will be closed Wednesday through Friday for students and staff.
The N.C. Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores will close Wednesday until further notice.
Duplin County Schools will dismiss at 2 p.m. Wednesday and be closed Thursday and Friday.
Carteret County government offices will close at noon Wednesday until further notice. The Emergency Operations Center will operate continuously through the storm beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
The inaugural Brigade Invitational Golf Tournament presented by Piggly Wiggly of Richlands and the Brigade Boys & Girls Club has been rescheduled to Oct. 16.
The North Topsail Beach Board of Aldermen cancelled their regular meeting Thursday and rescheduled it for Sept. 12.
Onslow County Partnership for Children has canceled the Diamonds and Denim event on Sept. 6. It will not be rescheduled.
Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune-Clinics will be closed Thursday and Friday. Essential personnel on board by Thursday.
Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Health Care System’s coastal clinics, Wilmington Heath Care Center, and Brunswick County and Jacksonville Community-based Outpatient Clinics, will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Duplin County administration offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Children's Castle will be closed Wednesday - Friday.
JZ Mann Pediatric Therapy will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Coastal Carolina Community College will be closed from 2 p.m. Wednesday through the open of normal business Monday morning.
Finder Keepers Thrift Store will be closed Thursday until further notice.
Campbell University's Camp Lejeune Campus will be closed Thursday and Friday.
The Maysville Board of Commissioners meeting for Thursdayhas been cancelled.
All coastal waters in North Carolina will temporarily close to shellfish harvest at sunrise Thursday.
Publix in Jacksonville will close at 10 p.m. Thursday and reopen at noon Friday as conditions allow.
Swansboro Town Hall and the Recreation Center will be closed Thursday and Friday.
ONWASA offices will be closed to the public Thursday and Friday.
The Jacksonville Mall will be closed Thursday, with plans to reopen Friday at noon depending on conditions.
