A missing 13-year-old Beulaville girl has been located and is back at home with her family.
Kiana Jenee Pearsall went missing from her grandmother’s home in Beulaville around 10:35 p.m. Saturday, according to the Beulaville Police Department Chief Jamie Rogers.
A Silver Alert was sent out on Monday at 2:25 a.m. by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety.
Kiana was found at the Wal-Mart in Richlands around 4 p.m. Monday, Rogers said.
A family member who is employed at Wal-Mart saw Kiana and was able to get custody of her and call law enforcement, Rogers said.
The teen was unharmed when she was found, Rogers said, and is back home with her family now after being picked up by her mother.
Rogers confirmed there may be arrests connected to Kiana’s absence in the future. The investigation is ongoing.
