The 29th annual Topsail Island Kiwanis Golf Tournament held May 1 generated over $7,000 to help provide support for local and area kids’ programs and special needs through the Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island.


SURF CITY — The 29th annual Topsail Island Kiwanis Golf Tournament held May 1 generated over $7,000 to help provide support for local and area kids’ programs and special needs through the Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island.



Fifty-nine golfers participated in the Friday morning event at North Shore Country Club in Sneads Ferry. The team of Bret Benton, Michael McKeithan, Taylor Carr and Lee Arthur won first place with a score of 60, followed by the second place team of Randy Cox, Todd Rademacher, Kyle Breuer and Travis Stafford with a score of 62.



Kiwanis sends deepest thanks to its Champion tournament sponsors who made substantial contributions to support the tournament this year.
