Studio tours reopen

Published: Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 13:01 PM.

The cost of the tour is $12 for adults; $10 for military with ID, students and seniors; and $5 for children 5-12. Tickets may be purchased with cash only upon arrival for the tour.

Tours will not be offered during the week unless groups of 20 or more reserve a date at least a month in advance.

Unfortunately for fans of Fox’s locally filmed supernatural drama “Sleepy Hollow,” which begins season two production May 6 at the studios, Stilwell said that, while they would love to have sets from the show on the tour, it is “not in the cards right now.”

EUE/Screen Gems previously operated studio tours for 15 years, before concluding them in 2011 after the locally filmed drama “One Tree Hill” ended its nine-year run.

The tours will continue through 2014 and possibly beyond, but guests are encouraged to call ahead about fall and winter dates.

For more information about the tour, call 910-343-3433 or visit studios.euescreengems.com/nc/tours.
