Surf City Dental’s 2nd annual Halloween Candy Buy Back was a great success. Thirty-five families stopped by the dental office on November 1 to swap their candy for cash. And some stragglers made candy donations and wrote thank you letters to troops fighting for our country overseas. In the end, Surf City Dental collected more than 125 pounds of candy!

“We would like to thank a few of our local donators for helping this success,” said Surf City Dental’s office manager Ruby Eaches.” “Harris Teeter of Surf City. Gilligan’s Barkery & Day Spa in Sneads Ferry, O2 Fitness in Mayfair, Wilmington, E-Z Mini Storage in Holly Ridge, and the Topsail Advertiser for helping to publicize our event.” “The care packages that will be sent to our troops through individual addresses of friends and family members of Surf City Dental will definitely help to brighten the soldiers’ day,” added Eaches. “We are looking forward to a bigger and better event next year.”
