The Dixie Swim Club
Tania Gonzalez brings The Dixie Swim Club, a Jones, Hope, Wooten production, to the Sneads Ferry Community Theatre stage. Five college swim teammates meet one long weekend every August in the same beach cottage at North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives. The show focuses on four of those weekends, spanning a period of 33 years. Show Dates are Sept. 5-7 and 12-14 with an 8 p.m. curtain on Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sunday matinees. Wine and cheese receptions will be held Sept. 5 and 12 at 7:15 p.m.
The theater is located inside the Sneads Ferry Community Center at 126 Park Lane.

Golf tournament
The Topsail Island Association of Realtors is teeing up for its third annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Homes4NC. The tournament will be held Sept. 10 at North Shore Country Club.
