ASHEBORO — Have you ever wondered where your clothes come from? In this class on Saturday, July 21, from 10 a.m.-noon, Le’Tonya Teague will teach students how to assemble and use a drop spindle to transform raw fiber into yarn.
All materials are provided: You will go home with your very first drop spindle and wool to spin into yarn.
Regular cost is $40 for members and $45 for non-members. If you already have a drop spindle, the cost would be $20 for members and $25 for non-members. If you want to take all three Saturday classes, the cost for each of the remaining two classes is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
This class, for ages 6 and up, has a minimum of three students. Enrollment deadline is Saturday, July 14.
