Asheboro Police


On May 9, David Adams Bailey, Greenfield Street, Asheboro, reported a breaking and entering at his residence. Bailey showed officers where the back storm door and a window were shattered and a large pile of glass was left on his porch. A 55-inch Sanyo television was taken. An Army BDU coat with a dated and time-stamped Food Lion receipt in the pocket was left at the scene. This case is under investigation.

Video surveillance showed a male suspect place the bottle in his pants and leave the business in a white Cadillac Escalade. Employees retrieved the vehicle’s license number.
