Family of seven made by couple taking on grandchildren, leaving them strained for assistance for the children. Family working to adopt some of the children and are left with bills for special medical issues. Girls aged 17, 3, and 1. Boys aged 14 and 10.

Single mother of two in the Southwest area is working at a job she loves but just does not have any resources for the holidays. She would greatly appreciate any assistance this holiday season in providing food and gifts for her 15-year-old daughter and her 11-year-old son.

Single mother of four in the Swansboro area needs holiday support this year. Father has left the family, and mom’s job provides just enough income for essential needs. The children include a 17-year-old daughter, a 15-year-old son, 13-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter.

Single mom is currently a dialysis patient and has been very ill. Her husband of 20 years has just left the family. The children, a 16-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son, have had much sadness this year. Mother would very much appreciate any holidays assistance for her children.

Single dad of an 11-year-old son is currently living with and caring for his disabled 81-year-old father. Medical expenses have increased this year, and dad’s father has required full-time attention. Any assistance for the holidays would be greatly appreciated.

Mother in this blended family will be having surgery and husband must take off work to care for four children, including one who is six months old. No family in area. One child abused by father who is out of the picture. Child is now in therapy. Father does not pay child support. Mother seeking help for the family to help provide for some normal activity during the Christmas season. Girls in family aged 6 and 2, Boys aged 4 and six months.

Family has historically saved for the holidays; however, this year a death in the family and loss of jobs have prevented the family from being able to set money aside. The children include a 16-year-old son, a 14-year-old daughter, a 13-year-old son, a 5-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old daughter.

Single mom of seven-year-old son and four-year-old daughter needs assistance this holiday season. One of the children is autistic, and mom is now having to pay for day care services. Mom is working hard but needs support during the holidays.

Forty-two-year-old man working self-employed construction jobs has suffered “the widow maker” heart attack and family has had to declare bankruptcy from the resultant bills as both husband and wife were working in the same effort.
