Onslow County will be one of the locations for a series of upcoming seminars on waterfowl hunting.
The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission and Ducks Unlimited are offering a series of seven seminars in October and November.
The seminar to be held in Onslow County will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Onslow County Extension Center, 4024 Richlands Highway in Jacksonville. The other seminars will be held in Fayetteville, Greenville, Elizabeth City and Raleigh in October and Concord and Winston-Salem in November.
The seminars are free and designed for new and experienced hunters. Topics will include waterfowl identification, hunting methods, decoys and calling, firearms and ammunition selection, and specialty clothing. Additional hunting information not covered in the seminar will also be available.
