Lori Fisher speaks to Kiwanis

The Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island welcomed Quarter Moon Book and Gift Store owner Lori Fisher to their Tuesday morning breakfast meeting. Lori opened her remarks by informing the Kiwanis that she is very proud to announce she will be celebrating 15 years in business in 2110. Lori said she feels fortunate to have had a lot of loyal customers over the years, as well as her store manager Claire Braxton who is the most delightful person to work with and to have greeting customers, making them feel comfortable and appreciated.

Lori has continued selling books, but has gradually added greeting cards and then the coffee bar. In 1999, she purchased the current building and now has gifts, clothing, a wide variety of stationary, Internet access work center and much, much more.
