Dr. John Traubert speaks to Kiwanis

The Topsail Island Kiwanis Club was proud to have one of their own members as the guest speaker at their most recent weekly meeting. Dr. John Traubert retired from medical service at West Virginia University and has a retirement home in Surf City. He and his wife Nancy are very active in the beach scene. Dr. Traubert gave the Kiwanis Club an update on the H1N1 virus. He also said that projections in North Carolina for a shortage of available vaccines did not come to be, and that there were plenty of vaccinations available. He also said the traditional flu shot was available and suggested that everyone get one.
