Surf City Art Guild formed

The newly formed Surf City Art Guild (SCAG) is named artists of the month of August. Each member has a sample of his or her work displayed along the hallway of the Surf City Community Center.

Pictured, not necessarily in order, are SCAG members holding their work: Jane Schaar (painter, printmaker, photographer), Gary Patch (beeswax and non-toxic pigments), LaNae Fowler (pencil drawing), Cathy Duden (altered art), Laura Nimmo (mosaics), Garland Hillard (pencil drawings), Lynn Ovens (pencils) and Tony Musolino (photography). The members of SCAG invite the public to stop by the community center during business hours to view the outstanding art these local artists have provided.
