Kiwanis welcome Jack Barto

The Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island met at the Smokehouse Restaurant in Holly Ridge for their weekly breakfast, and welcomed guest speaker Jack Barto, President and CEO of New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. He spoke about the Senate Health Care Bill being debated in Congress. He stated that he has not read the entire bill, with thousands of pages, because like most Americans, he doesn’t have the time. He belongs to a national healthcare association which has read the bill, and provided information that he has been privileged to see.
