Scooters and mopeds are dangerous on our roadways. I don’t see how registering them is going to make them any more visible or able to keep up with traffic. How about making people wear reflecting vests?
Our great country is in a time of turmoil, and we need to pay attention. If you go on vacation this summer, take a good look around. Is this the country you remember as a child? Of course electronics have changed the face of things greatly. No one makes eye contact anymore. Written cards are becoming a thing of the past since you can email someone “Happy Birthday” with a big smiley face.
n It’s time we take a step back and a deep breath. Our country and its foundation are losing some of its shine. Be proud to be an American. Be thankful that we live where we do but don’t become complacent. Stop pretending that “someone else will fix it.”
Remember knowledge and common sense are two great powers we are all able to obtain if we work at it. Libraries are still free (last I checked).
