Thousands powered through the heat to enjoy fresh seafood, live music, vendors and rides at the annual Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival.



One of the attractions at the festival, which was held Aug. 11 and 12, was the Gator Boys Road Show hosted by Jimmy Riffle and featuring live alligators. There was also a beer and wine garden, entertainment, car show, kidís art area, rock climbing station, fossil dig site, shrimp heading contest, vendors and several carnival rides. The festivalís largest draw continues to be the Shrimparoo dinners, served this year by Tís Cafť of Sneads Ferry.
