Surf City Parks & Recreation’s annual Women’s Expo proved again to be a popular event, showcasing area businesses and services and serves as a fundraiser for a community project.



The 7th annual Surf City Women's Expo, which was held at the Surf City Community Center on March 9, was started to help increase the winter activity in the town. This year’s expo featured more than 5o businesses and services of interest to women, including gifts, fashion, jewelry, health and wellness, lawn care, cosmetics, interior design, artists and authors.



All money raised from the event goes to the Community Holiday Assistance Program, which provides Christmas presents for children in the area in need.
